Dear Friends of Kodea,

 

I hope this message finds you well. I am delighted to write to you and share our Corporate Report, which includes a summary of all our activities in 2023. This year, we achieved significant growth in beneficiaries (17%) and a very substantial increase in both national and international coverage.

 

I imagine that, like us at Kodea, all the economic, technological, and global news has posed great challenges for you as we approach the middle of 2024. In particular, the disruption caused by AI has presented us with major challenges related to the redefinition of our training programs (for people in the process of job reconversion, teachers, children, and women). Additionally, it has required our teams to reflect on the ethical dimension of our work, enabling us to advance in understanding the phenomenon and determining how we should address it.

 

We also recognize that the digital maturity of organizations, where the gap between leaders has increased by 60% over the past three years, will be a key differentiator for our survival. As an NGO, we are highly focused on developing our own digital muscle (digital mindset), and to this end, we have implemented various solutions aimed at strengthening our evidence-based decision-making (data-driven) and achieving an increasingly adaptive management and leadership style. Additionally, many Kodea members have returned to studying (I recently completed a course in Managerial AI), and we have been testing AI solutions that allow us to automate processes and functions. If any of you are interested in sharing or contributing to this conversation, we would be happy to discuss it.

 

Before saying goodbye, I want to take a moment to thank all our amazing partners, our vast network of volunteers, and, of course, our national and international contributors who trust us and help us improve every day. I also want to thank the Kodea team for their commitment.
