IdeoDigital is a country-wide project, born out of a strategic alliance between the Kodea Foundation and the BHP Foundation which seeks to create the necessary conditions to implement Computer Science in the Chilean public school system and thus provide students with key technological and scientific knowledge to become actors in the digital society of the 21st century.
Los Creadores (The Creators) is the National School Digital Talent Award that we developed together with El Mercurio, TVN and Regional Media to showcase children, young girls and their teachers with creative minds and the ability to use technology to serve their community. It is an initiative with which we encourage early innovation and the development of digital skills in the school environment; with high-impact recognition for 16 teams from each region of the country and a formative experience with forward-looking for all participants.
“La Hora del Código” (The Hour of Code) is a digital education campaign created by Code.org, which travels the world encouraging children to spend an hour playing, learning and creating with technology. Millions of students in more than 180 countries have participated, promoting the teaching of Computer Science and programming in the classroom.
This initiative, which is about to complete four years, was developed as a country project that brings together companies, training institutions and government to develop new skills in people, in tune with the demands of the digital economy, generating more employment opportunities and serving as a bridge that connects the demand for talent, the supply of training and job placement.
“Emprendedoras Conectadas” (Connected Women Entrepreneurs) digitally empowers women leading small businesses, so that they can identify new opportunities and commercial channels complementary to their traditional activity. This initiative seeks to empower and expand their businesses, because we are convinced the digital appropriation empowers them and inserts them in the new economy.
“Nuestra Voz“ (Our Voice) is a collaborative project that started in 2019 with the objective of positioning women within the public debate and making them part of the solutions that our country demands. It also became the first citizen opinion platform to use artificial intelligence to collect and listen to the voices of women throughout Chile, without any kind of exclusion.
